How gorgeous is the may cover of Martha Stewart! There are some really great projects in it that I am definitely going to tackle at the next crafternoon.

For the love of felt

I should have seen the signs. At markets, shops, craft sales... my eye would always take me to the felted items. Well I recently decided that it was time to take a stab [no pun intended] at it! I'm still getting the hang of it but I am hooked! If anyone out there is looking for a new hobby I highly recommend needle felting.

Quilling

This morning I thought I'd share a new hobby of mine, Quilling. By winding and bending strips of paper you can create really beautiful shapes in every colour imaginable. I picked up pre-cut strips at an art store quite a while ago and came across them recently in a spring cleaning spree. These are a few pics of one of the gift tags I am working on.
