Have you heard of Picasso Head? I just discovered it and have been having so much fun making picasso-esque portraits. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Brand Building

This image physically portrays one companies brand building process. I think it's a great idea and could be a very interesting series. Found here.

Interior Eye Candy

Good Morning! I hope you all had a great weekend. I could spend all day browsing [and drooling] over the interior stylings of Glen Proebstel.

Coffee Mornings

I took these photos a few days ago and just love how they capture one of my favourite times of the day. First thing in the morning with a coffee close by. That mug by the way does in fact say Jonsie, a gift from Maw years ago.

For the love of craft

I think this video is wonderful. It was done by Kim Ridgewell for Rethink Canada's opinion section. It is a  great commentary on designers thinking outside of the box, experimenting with new mediums and her tale of discovering her love for craft and design.

Billy Buttons

I have completely fallen in love with felting. This is a little project I did recently after seeing the tutorial on a daily read of mine, Design Sponge. I was given the rock vase a little while ago and thought that these felted Billy Buttons would suit it nicely so I took a stab [haha] at it. I would love to do a large bouquet of them next. I hope you have a great weekend!

Self Image

Everyone has a self image and certain hangups about themselves. If you are finding that it is just one of those days where nothing looks right or your feeling a little blah this video may cheer you up! I've posted about Creature Comforts before, those hilarious claymation videos with the animals. Well this morning I am going to post about them again. Enjoy!

Sleep Tight

This months Anthropologie catalogue is loaded with eye candy [as usual]. Could they have styled the beds and bedding any dreamier?

Feels Good

I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend! It was a very productive one here in Halifax! I finally made it downtown for a little stroll amongst some of my favourite shops. One particular shop that was on the top of my list was a new one to downtown, Inkwell Boutique. It's filled with beautiful cards, tea towels and all things handmade. The work of Mary Kate McDevitt caught my eye and I am now the proud owner of one of her prints [the one below]. If you are in Halifax, I highly recommend a trip to Inkwell.
