Parachute

hmmm I think that Tuesday might be a good day for a weekly video post.
I am a huge fan of Ingrid Michaelson so I thought I would share her latest video called parachutes. A great song for this chilly Tuesday Morning. Enjoy!

Little things make me happy

I spotted these super cute oven mitts at the dollar store [yup, that means they were $1!] while hunting for d.i.y materials. So I came home and made apple crisp so that I could use my new oven mitts.

Feeling fall

It is chilly out there this morning. Amelia Kay is an amazing photographer [would you believe she is self taught]. Her Etsy shop is full of amazing shots like these.

Glasses, Birds, Bubbles

A few more pics from NYC. Glasses at the Hell's Kitchen Fles Market, Birds at the Pier, and bubbles in Central Park. I bet it's beautiful there this time of year.

This little piggy

Yup, I have a pig collection and I would like to introduce to you the newest member! This little guy is from a market in Vancouver. He now spends his days resting comfortably on my desk, keeping an eye on me as I work.

Morning Gromit, time for walkies.

My two favourite clay figures are back! This time in the form of postage for The Royal Mail. Nick Park [W&G creator] certainly did not let the size of a stamp get in the way of adding details. They are so fun!

If you have some time and are a fan of Wallace and Gromit you have to check out their  website. Beautifully designed and stock full of goodies!

New Look

I thought it was time for a little blog make-over. Hope you enjoy!

Don't hurt Dexter!

The brains behind those very cool Lost posters I posted about a while ago has now become a fan of Dexter and has made a poster that represents each season. Such an amazing show!

Nora was a mean drunk

I can't get enough of these little doodles! Not only are the doodles themselves incredible but the simple humour is so great. Sylvia and her Tea Bag is my favourite.

Happy Turkey Day!

Very cute Pom-Pom Turkey's. These would make great place cards. Something to do while you wait for dinner? Find the tutorial here.

If you have a few minutes this weekend sit back and watch this great video. You don't even have to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy!

Muppet Whatnot

Did you know you can make a muppet of your very own!?  FAO Schwarz  has a Muppet Whatnot Workshop. We came across it on a mandatory visit to the toy store while in NYC but I just discovered that they have an online workshop. No I won't be ordering a muppet of my own but It's fun picking all the elements and then previewing what your muppet would look like.
