These "doodles" are from the sketchbook.. I repeat... sketchbook of Gwen Frederick. A product innovation specialist at LG Electronics. I really need to start sketching more.

I love these two particular projects by Interior stylist Camilla Krishnaswamy. Talk about setting two very different tones using darks and lights. 

In The Garden

I received a beautiful Nikon camera for my birthday from Dave [xoxo] and I immediately went out to the garden to take a few snaps. I can't take credit for the flowers in the garden. The previous owners of our home created a wonderful little garden and we are definitely reaping the benefits. Gardening is on my list of things to learn/do next summer. My hope is to start capturing more of our everyday life and all the little projects I seem to always have on the go.

Bookshelf Porn

Such a great site! I don't know about you but I have always dreamed of having a bookshelf big enough that you need one of those ladders that slides back and forth to get to the ones at the top.

August Anthro

A great birthday so far. Coffee made for me just the way I like it, cbc radio 2 and the new Anthropologie Catalogue to browse [and drool over].

Have you heard of Picasso Head? I just discovered it and have been having so much fun making picasso-esque portraits. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
