Do What You Love

Anna Bond recently got featured in The Gap's Do What You Love video series. I am a huge, huge fan of her work and company, Rifle Paper Co.

The brains behind the Do What You Love videos is Ryan of Pacing the Panic Room, you can check out all the other videos to date here.

Such a great idea and so inspirational!

I can't tell you how excited I am about this album (coming out in February). Adele is simply amazing. That voice... it's incredible. I currently have her latest single, Rolling in the Deep, on repeat and thought I'd share, enjoy!

What Katie Ate

What Katie Ate is a blog favourite of mine. Katie is a food stylist and photographer from Australia and her blog is where she shares recipes along with accompanying photos. Just a warning, I wouldn't look at her blog on an empty stomach.

The Art of Letterpress

I recently stumbled upon the gorgeous work and website of Sideshow Press. I'd like to share a section from their site called, The Art of Letterpress. A beautiful lesson through pictures.

Keep your head up

If you have 4 minutes to spare, check out this music video for Andy Grammer's, Keep your head up. Not only is it a super catchy song but the video is interactive! Head to the second floor of the elevator to see a special cameo. Watch it below (sorry it's a little small) or click here!

Old Frame Transformations!

Check out my d.i.y project on HGTV.ca! I transform 4 old frames into a magnet board, a bulletin board, a chalk board and a jewelry display. Hoping to have a homemade Christmas this year? Any of these would make a really unique gift! Click here to see the project!

Quilling Queen

Yulia Brodskaya is the queen of quilling. what is quilling you might ask? It is a craft technique where thin strips of paper are rolled, formed and glued to create unique designs. Like I said, Yulia is queen of quilling.

Ciii-ute!

I love felted crafts. If I ever find the time one day it is something I would love to try. In the mean time I will continue to gush over other peoples felted creations. These super cute felted goodies are created by Fairy Folk. They have a lovely etsy shop

Two for Tuesday

If you are a fan of Ray Lamontagne or Foy Vance then you will love Pete Lawrie. I've chosen two of his music videos to share today. Since the first video tugs at the heart strings I've followed it up with an extremely feel good video. Both are completely different but beautiful. The stop motion animation in the first is incredible and the use of Text in the second is a really nice touch. Enjoy!

Yummy Monsters

I didn't make a costume this year but I did bring back the monster cupcakes. York Peppermint patties and York bites make up the eyes, Mini Chipits are the nostrils and their teeth are almond slivers.

One more about Mad Men

I came across this story from Rolling Stone Magazine that takes a behind the scenes look at Mad Men. The photographs are really incredible so I had to share.
p.s. This probably won't be my last Mad Men post.
